Because there are never more than 5 guest dogs, your dog is known as an individual. We notice if they are quiet, if they prefer the garden to the sofa, or if they need a little extra reassurance on their first night.
From our initial Meet & Greet and our Registration Form, you can tell us all about your dog, their routines, including feeding, walking and sleeping. At The Collar Club we do all we can to follow your dogs routines to ensure they feel comfortable in a new place.

A little planning before the school holidays makes handover day much calmer for you and your dog.
Arrange a meet and greet
New guests meet us before their first stay. After a chat on the phone, we will arrange a time for you and your dog to come and visit us in our home. This allows us to all meet, see how your dog reacts to our house and us and gives us a chance to ask you lots of questions about your dog. No bookings can be confirmed without a meet and greet. This process is always complimentary and is a condition of our licence.
Share your dog's routine
Tell us about feeding, walks, medication, sleep habits and anything that helps your dog feel secure. The closer we can mirror their normal day, the easier they settle.
Book early for peak dates
Summer holidays, Easter and Christmas are the first dates to fill. With only 5 guest dogs at a time, early enquiry is the only way to secure peak school holiday boarding in Ipswich.

- Yes. Walks are part of daily life at The Collar Club, using local footpaths and green spaces around Ipswich and Suffolk. All dogs will receive at least 2 20 minute walks as standard, lengths can be increased at no extra charge to meet the requirements of your dog. Secure dog fields can also be used where requested at an extra cost
